First Lutheran Church is a member of the Ministerial Association, which meets once a month, and Pastor Olson is currently the president of the Food Pantry's Board of Directors.

In addition to various community worship services (like the Easter Sunrise Service), the Association sponsors the Food Pantry, the National Day of Prayer, the Crop Walk, the community Vacation Bible School, and the baccalaureate service for Prophetstown High School.
