FLAG (First Lutheran
Adult Group)
FLAG meets on the third Sunday of each month. We invite all adults
at First Lutheran to join us in service and fellowship. Whether
it is providing food or financial support, FLAG members have many
opportunities to serve at First Lutheran.
Coming Together to Serve our Congregation:
- We host fellowship hour once a month.
- We host a Pancake Breakfast on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday
- We host the soup luncheon held after the Sunday School Christmas
Program.
- We collect aluminum cans for recycling.
- We provide financial support for church activities: in 2003
we helped FLY members attend the Atlanta Youth Gathering.
Coming Together To Enjoy Fellowship (If we're not eatin', we're
not meetin'!):
- A visit to Tanner's Orchard was followed by German dining.
- A "Chili Dump" was followed by singing around a campfire.
- A "Progressive Dinner" allowed us to share our culinary prowess.
