Mission Statement
First Lutheran Church is a gathering of God's people who are rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are united in God's call in baptism. Guided by the Holy Spirit we seek to live out God's call by: hearing God's word and sharing the sacraments, nurturing the spiritual growth of all members, teaching and learning of God's love for us, caring for and about each other, reaching out and welcoming the stranger, supporting our leadership, pledging our time, talents and resources to God's work, encouraging and equipping all of God's people for ministry, embracing the mission of ELCA locally, synodically, church-wide and globally.

Staff
The Staff at First Lutheran Church provides the leadership necessary to facilitate the programs mandated by the Church Council.

Church Council
The Church Council and its committees develop programs to enrich our faith journey. The various committees offer varied opportunities for service.

FLAG
FLAG offers opportunities for monthly fellowship and service to the adults at First Lutheran Curch.

FLY
FLY's activities allow First Lutheran Youth to learn about their faith, share time together, plan worship events, and participate in national conventions and servant trips.

WELCA
WELCA 's various programs provide the Women of First Lutheran Church chances to study the Bible, and to serve our congregation, community, and world.
